Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties

The bachelor and bachelorette parties traditionally are an opportunity for friends of the engaged couple to have one last get-together before the couple makes the marriage official.  In our case these were fairly simple gatherings but it is common in such events to have a dancer of the opposite sex.  While obviously you should enjoy the outing, I would only advise that an engaged couple be careful about the type of activity that occurs at the bachelor / bachelorette party.  There are cases where a poor decision at one of these parties was discovered by the new spouse later and caused considerable conflict in the relationship.  That is not the way to start off a marriage.  Have fun but be smart about it.
