After the Honeymoon

After the honeymoon the apartment was somewhat disorganized.  We had all the gifts in the living room, our unpacked bags from the honeymoon and of course now I had all my wife's belongings in the same one-bedroom apartment which was formerly for one bachelor.  My wife decided she wanted to rearrange a few things even though I was perfectly comfortable with them being where they were.  But in the end I came to realize that the rearrangement of the apartment didn't hurt anything and if it made her happy, then it was for the best.  So for the bachelors - don't be surprised if your wife wants to change things around after the wedding.  Obviously, moving into a new place would avoid this but then you add to the stress of planning a wedding having to move all your belongings and hers.  Even after the honeymoon you will still need to send thank you cards for the wedding gifts, arrange your new place, buy a few things that your wife wants for the kitchen or living room and select the wedding photos.  Congratulations, you are now married!
