Our Wedding

My girlfriend and I had been dating for more than two years when in February 2008 we took a walk around a lake we frequently visited and I asked her if she would marry me.  We planned a wedding for August 2008 about the date of our anniversary.  Planning a wedding is a lot of work so she stopped working a few months before the wedding day to focus on the many wedding details.  But despite her efforts, in the weeks prior to our wedding on occasion it was necessary to make arrangements to meet with the photographer, decide on some detail related to the reception, go to the court, etc.  After work we met several times for premarital counseling or discussed aspects of the wedding plans.  It was neat being together planning all this but somewhat overwhelming at times.  We would like to thank Cesar and Lucero, Karina, my mother and the many friends who helped tremendously with the numerous wedding details and whose help greatly facilitated our wedding day.  Planning a wedding is a tremendous undertaking and we hope the notes under "articles" from our experience will help you in planning the wedding of your dreams.
